We are incredibly proud to have achieved so much since establishing the AA Salt brand in 2002. Our business has seen tremendous growth without compromising our principles and remained true to our Missions and Values statement.
With environmental impact always being the centre focus of our work- and a key pillar of our Missions and Values- we have always strived to use the most responsible methods for whatever service we carry out. In 2022, we managed to smash our target of becoming carbon-neutral (8 years ahead of schedule!), receiving an FSB award as the winner of the Environmental and Sustainable category for our efforts.

In 2019, the Hereford and Worcester Chamber of Commerce presented us with another prestigious award- Family Business of the Year. As many know, Nikki and Mark set up the business together over 20 years ago to help the local businesses of Worcester face harsh winters. Since then, Ben has also joined the team as the Sales and Operations director, with a team of passionate staff to help all our superb customers each year.

Our awards aren’t the only things we value, however. We have recently become a member of the Living Wage Foundation, paying a wage that reflects everyday needs and not what is deemed suitable as a Minimum Wage. By introducing this scheme, we feel we’re able to do the right thing by our staff and create a positive work environment for our team.
